Pub N' Pedal 6 update

It's hard planning a pub crawl in the midst of RAGBRAI excitement, but we seem to be doing it nicely. I have made the decision to mark this 6th anniversary with t-shirts...

As you can see there are still plenty of spaces for sponsors so t-shirts are not in production yet. Once the final design has been finished I will be taking pre-orders for those of you who would like to get one. That way you'll be guaranteed a shirt in your size.

I do not charge anything for this race. However, there is a keg at the final bar and cups to drink from said keg are $5. (years past this has been about an hour of booze after the race) If you decide you would like a t-shirt, cost of your keg cup would be included. Shirt and cup cost $20.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY A SHIRT OR A CUP FOR THE KEG AT THE FINAL BAR!!! This post is just saying that if you want one they're available.

Also, I have some very talented friends who have been charged with the design of the poster for this year. Here are two of the designs I've received.....

There should be a third design coming shortly as well. How is a boy supposed to choose?

I decided to revamp my prize picks for KC Sprints @ Buzzard Beach Friday night.
Realized I got a little carried away and we'll still need to have some prizes for future races.

Time to get to it, busy Sprints season is upon us.

Got an email saying our stickers will arrive before we head out of town and we're still working on booking our venue for the return to KC. I know, I know, a month off makes us real lazy so now is our time to get motivated. BTW, we are looking at Michelob Ultra to be an added sponsor for our grand return. More info as that develops.

On an unrelated note, the 4th Annual Street Cred race is gearing up with the first of 5 races starting January 2nd....



One event a week with each race being a different challenge. Your points are added together from each race to determine the winner. Prizes are being gathered and possible money purse for the winner.

AAAANNNNNNNNDDDDD...... Stupor Bowl is coming up in February!!! Watch out MPLS, KC is coming to drink all your beer and pee in your bushes...
