For your consideration
uNkY jOIns and I were talking the other night (drinking beers) when he mentioned that with our 1st event of the season coming up perhaps we should repost that sweet promotional video that Lucas Marshall made for us after our Lincoln event last January.
So here ya go.
So here ya go.
Finally a smattering of photos....
Time to stop being lazy. Below are some pics of the last few events and a few more of some random things I've been up to. Enjoy.

First Event of the Season!
You're invited!
The Topeka Community Cycle Project invites you to Flat Tire — a night of bicycles, bands and entertainment at Bosco’s Downtown, 435 S. Kansas Avenue.
This benefit show is taking place on Saturday, December 4th, 2010, from 7 PM - 2 AM. Performances from local bands, including indie bluegrass favorites That Damn Sasquatch, will fill the event with sounds and excitement. In addition, there will be a silent auction (featuring two very nice bicycles), competitive indoor bike races, and limited TCCP shop tours.
The event is open to all ages for just a $5 donation at the door. Contributions will support volunteer-based community activities at TCCP, like our Earn-a-Bike and Work Bike programs.
The Topeka Community Cycle Project (TCCP) is a not for profit community bicycle workshop that promotes self-reliance, sustainability, and healthful living in Topeka and is committed to the recycling, repurposing, and distribution of bicycles.
For more information, see the website: http://cycleproject.org or the Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=100213973380607
NOTE: If Kansas City folks want to come out I have room in my car for a couple of you. Hit me up if you're needing a ride and we'll find a way to get you there.

2010/11 Sponsor Hunt
Its that time again. Time for the
Great Sponsor Hunt for the 2010/11 KC Sprint season.
So, if you are a past sponsor, know of someone/a company that should be a sponsor or want to be a sponsor, hit us up at:
kcsprints@gmail.com
Our needs are simple.
We need the use of you name and logo, to promote you, along with swag/prizes for our contestants that you provide.
Stickers, t-shirts, buttons, helmets, jackets, hats, bike components, whiskey... whatever.
Everything is appreciated.
Things are a brewing.
Events are being planned.
Jones is thinking (scary!)
Lets see what happens.
been super lazy.....
Yes, I know I have to update this blog more often than every couple of months. But its just so damn hard to find the time in between beers.....
Lots of good things coming around.
- We will be setting up in Topeka, KS on December 4th to do a benefit for a bike collective out there. I should have a flier posted soon.
- We apparently are talking to the folks from Lincoln, NE about a return trip (hell yeah! if you enjoy our events this is a must go to. best racing of the year)
- and I'm setting a date sometime in January for our grand return to the Buzzard Beach.
I do have photos from the Pub N' Pedal 4, racing at the Replay Lounge, and other odds and ends. I will get those up as soon as I damn well feel like it, k?
Other news, a group of Kansas Citians are heading to the Midwest Polo Champs in Lexington, KY this weekend. Even though my desire to play polo has dwindled from slim to none this promises to be a great weekend of bike riding and trash talking.
